ALEXANDER INTERNATIONAL AWARD – III Edition
RULES
The “Alexander” International Award is a Distinguished Achievement Award reserved to Personalities of international standing who have made a distinct contribution to their particular profession. One of the 5 Awards is reserved to a Member of the Italian Armed Forces. Personalities of any nationality, wherever residing, are eligible for the Alexander Award.
Institutions, Associations and all who receive this invitation may submit one or more candidates at their unappealable discretion.

Nominations must be in writing, supported with evidence and signed by the Nominator. They must contain the candidate’s personal details, postal address and CV.
Submissions can be made by Public and Private Institutions, Embassies, Associations, Trade Unions, Newspapers, Public and Private Television and Radio, Organised Groups or ordinary citizens. The nominations will be reviewed by an international committee and must be received within March 31st, 2018 latest at the following address:

The formal Award Ceremony will be on Saturday, May 19th, 2018. Awardees will be notified by post with an official invitation. Other personalities of cultural, political, religious and voluntary work fields will also be present. The Organizers reserve the right to modify these rules for a better running of the event. The Award Ceremony is open to all who share the event’s aims.

The candidates’ personal data are processed in accordance with current laws on data protection.

AWARDEE SELECTION RULES
Universum Switzerland’s Advisory Board decides the Jury Members of the Alexander Award Panel.
The Panel is made up of 5 Jurors who are Personalities with cultural, research and institutional backgrounds who are specially appointed each year. The Jurors are committed at risk of expulsion to utmost secrecy.

The Judging Panel reviews the nominees’ documentation according to the Advisory Board’s directives and designates the ALEXANDER Awardees, informing the Organizing Committee of its decisions. Five Awards are conferred, one of which, reserved for a Member of the Italian Armed Forces. Awardees are required to personally attend the Award Ceremony. Failure to do so will result in exclusion. Delegating is forbidden.

Each Awardee receives:

– 24k Gold Plaque and customized Alexander Awardee Certificate
– Honorary Academic Certificate and Membership Card
– Presidential Medal

Award nomination and participation is free of charge and no expenses are due from the Awardees. Further information may be requested to the Award Secretariat as follows:
